"Nove" is a collection of vignettes, and is the first pop up book I made, at the turn of the century, as a performance art piece. Most of the sections can be removed from the book. It is handwritten, uses lots of found paper and handmade papers, and other found objects. It also features lots of origami forms and copyright free geometric designs.
"Multiple: One Than One"
In the Box is "A Collection of Fig and Teeth" a story quilt.
"Spider" is written inside white on white origami shapes and reads from back to front.
This form is held open by a magnet embedded in the paper.
During one performance the pages were splattered with fake blood.
Here are the last three stories: in the blue origami stretch wall is the prose poem" Monket: The Bitter taste of: Baboon".
"The Bowl of Milk" is written on handmade paper with bamboo embedded in it.
The final story, "Ruven' is held in place by Velcro.
