Wearing a couple different bananas as a nod to Treadwell...who rocked his bananas as he went bananas.
Treadwell is definitely a more interesting, complex, noble, delusional and tragic figure than Chris McCandless, who, IMHO was an ignorant nuance. Treadwell was also much more destructive. 8 of the bears he interacted with had become so habituated to humans that they had to be shot in the coming seasons. So in the end, 10 bears had to be killed because of his intrusion on their habitat. Only 2 people died, but 15 had to be rescued trying to reach the bus that McCandless perished in.
