The chinese new year is fast approaching. February 17th will being in the year of the fire horse and a solar eclipse. There's less than a week left to get everything cleaned up, Get a haircut, Pay all debts, Burn some ceremonial money so my ancestors in heaven and hell can quit their jobs and have more time to support and guide me... And finally... scrub my life of google products ( as best I can. ) Upon my recent return to the United States I attempted to upload photos from a hike through Buckskin Gultch in SW Utah. I was unable to unless enabling more cookies... more tracking...more scrapping of content by the company to feed the AI machines... Being powered by the data centers thrown up hastily in places that already barely have enough water to drink.

By the 17th I will have downloaded all my content for my own archives, and anything in the future I will post for free on Substack: username : gretionwaters. This blog & the other one about my home build will be deleted.
