Pictures from a hike on what was once a rail used traditionally by the three local First Nations, the Sto':lo, Nlaka'pamux and Similkameen to get over the Cascade mountains to the coast of British Columbia, Canada. In the late 1800's it was expanded and reinforces to allow cattle to be driven over the mountains to the settlements on the Fraser River Valley. We hiked part way and met a little friend along the way.
