Today's adeventure: Magothy Bay in the Eastern VA Wildlife Refuge

This place is a true gem, pristine and remote, just a few miles but worlds away from the tangle of urbana around the rest of Chesapeake Bay. The out & back trail is 5 miles, the path out to the marsh overlook another .65, so 5 miles round trip, and a 2 mile bike rode from the rest area at the north side of the bridge. It's baby turtle season🤗🐢
This local uncle followed us up the dirt road just to make sure we stayed outta his lawn.
