The duty to retreat

An exposition of thoughts on identity, respect & boundaries for Charlie @divineeprovidence ...
.
Some of my favorite cliques:
Discretion is the better part of valor.
The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
You can't judge a book by the cover.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I have a strong instinct to be on the lookout for good manners in the forum of conscientiousness because it seems that most of the harm done between people is the harm caused by a neglect If a person is conscientious enough to behave with good manners and a forethought of intent it's less likely they will cause harm or abuse through neglect and more likely they will be capable of resolving the issues, more likely they will be able to comprehend the issue, and more likely they will feel confident to do something about it.
.
Ultimately,  with regards to boundaries as with self defense,  there is a duty to retreat.
