Forgive the bad lighting. The shop lights focus well for working, with out getting too hot in my space, but not great for photos. I expected to be more productive given all the ideas I had busting at my brain seams! But my fingers are out of practice & I decided to make several completely new patterns, another skill I haven't flexed in many years. All together, I am satisfied with my effort and look forward to the next periods of work in my little hideout.

I really like the roll up door for getting pieces at different working heights
Bias cut, two layered, multi pieced chiffon stripes which ALL LINE UP. I set myself a challenge and I succeededWith pockets
Very Floofy. Very colorful. Very fun. With detachable tulle flower bustles.
Tulle floofy underskirt
Been really into piping my seams lately. Placing the loops for the detachable parts.
I didn't have a large enough piece of fabric to lay these tops out the a single pattern piece it's designed for, so I look forward to making more when I come across enough material. It's an interesting pattern with an arm sleeve that angles up, although it doesn't betray the level of drama in these renditions.
I took the bottom hems of these two off & added some more striped jersey to make them more like tunics dresses.
After spending two weeks making one piece, and then another week making 2 pairs of jeans it was great to whip up this little cotton raglan sleeve blouse in a day with some medium weight material I bought at a flea market somewhere in America.
Jeans from a favorite pattern. Features side pockets and nice sleak button holes, which I need to get some detail shots of when I go back.
Sand and sage.
This coat needs to be shown on a better hanger, and despite working on it for 2 weeks I still think it could be better.
Inner detachable tulle dress. I wish it was 10x more floofy, but I didn't have enough material. Next time.
Jelly fish tassels.
Detachable hood.
Mock up for my crazy pants pattern inspired by the Greek God Pan. 👆🏻Back 👇🏻Front
Outer half of the two legs put together at the back with pockets, front side.
Outer half of the two legs with the inner leg gusset, not yet assembled because I ran out of the printed ikat cotton material I am using for the seam binding. Inside
Working on the paper pattern improved from having made a first draft out of landscaping cloth. It's so cheap and acts like it has the same weight as the cotton twill material I am going to make the pants from.
Working on the drama sleeve top pattern
These two magical elves taking a break.
Zsa Zsa showing of her side eye
Pony tails
Making the detachable hood.
Nice to have so many air-conditioned hallways to run in on hot afternoons.
Or not run in.
Calm before the storm.
Meet up of the Albuquerque Sewing FRIENDS mostly stitch n bitch at the library🥰
This is the original piece I created from this new pattern. I wanted the draped fleets in the front, And the option of the gathered inset piece in the back.
Found two old pairs of jeans at the laundromat that I've been saving for a while to use making this pattern in my head for the first time. I did a lot of top stitching and extra distressing.
Also created this new pants pattern for the first time. Made them fairly large with a forty inch pattern has lots of room to take it in time, But over all smooth construction and nice shape.
Little secret pocket and clip inside the bellflower belt decoration
Still refining the leg of mutton pants. These are made out of a wool spandex blend and incorporated a quilted pattern I saw on some pieces in a antique store in Florida a couple years ago that I've been wanting to work into garments. .
Excellent interiors. If I added pockets in there these would be reversible.
Elastic throughout the back of the waistband, and also added these button tabs to tighten up the waist if needed or desired.
I have two long strips ready to use in a bomber jacket yet to come.
Found a few more yards of matching lavender organza in a remnants bin. Finally this large raincoat, with detachable robe and hood, is floofy enough to wear to the prom. This is how I wanted it to look, but I ran out of fabric until today. 💜 First pass at making this pattern I drafted. Ready to try it again now that I'm satisfied with this piece.
Finished these two polka dot lil pompom buddy dresses today. Two tiered skirt with lots of tucks and pockets. Draw strings in the pocket placket and around the body of the skirts. Lots of elastic in the bodice for nice fit. Based on a dress made about 19 years ago & still wear quite often. I got the fabric and the pompoms together in an art supply reused store in Olympia Washington, So it seemed obvious that they needed to become something together.

The purpose of this dress is to be so hideous it's good, and to work on my piping skills. If I can pipe a dress cut on the bias I should be able to do anything .
